The Pros - Gel Manicures are renowned for their durability and ability to resist chipping, making them ideal for clients seeking vibrant and long-lasting nail colours. They cure quickly under UV light, allowing for efficient salon treatments with a wide range of colour choices.

The Cons - Clients occasionally refer to Gel as having ‘ruined’ their nails however if applied professionally, removed properly and maintained in between, the natural nail should be no different after removal than it was before application.

By completing both, you agree to 9 weekly payments of $109. Online content will be provided but you will not be able to book your live lessons and your kit will not be sent out until the first 6 payments are complete. If any payments default and are not made on time, this condition will be extended to the full 9 weeks.

There's a misconception that you need to be good before you join a lesson but this is definitely false! Your live lessons are where, after watching the pre-recorded demonstrations, a Mentor can help you in real-time. The Mentor guides you through practicing for the first time - you're not supposed to be a master.

You can also re-sit all Assessments and rewatch all pre-recorded content for the duration of your 12-month Study Period (although only the first Assessment attempt is free)

Sometimes people ask if there is a module that excludes Pedicures because, well, feet!

Rest assured the Pedicure part of the course is fairly minimal because we are converting skills you will have already learned.

This means that if you want to specialise in Pedicure services, you still gain all the skill and knowledge to do so, but if this isn’t your jam, it won’t be too torturous.

There is one live lesson on toes, you only need to do one foot to be marked as complete, and if you really have to, you can do this one on yourself.

It's a common misconception that our online courses are just pre-recorded videos, however they actually include in depth live lessons done via Zoom.

Your Mentor can see your desk as you work. You can see their desk incase they need to demonstrate something for you.

This Module can be completed on its own or as part of the Foundation Certificate in Nail Technology.

If you intend to work towards the Foundation Certificate in Nail Technology - You get one overall certificate, with space for stickers that show which modules have been completed. You can order the base certificate and the corresponding sticker for this course after all criteria has been met. This option is free for all students.

If you want a certificate specifically for this module alone - You can purchase one in the 'Certificates' category of our online Shop after all criteria has been met. This option is at an additional cost.
